The 4A’s Partner Awards honors creative excellence achieved through meaningful collaboration in advertising. We celebrate the partnerships that place creativity at the center to produce solutions that challenge conventional practices, perceptions and norms.

The 4A’s Partner Awards salute the remarkable partnerships that put ego aside and elevate creativity.

FAQs

WHO CAN ENTER? 

All companies that engage in partnerships can enter. 

HOW DO YOU DEFINE A PARTNER?

Partners may be defined as creative agencies, media agencies, digital agencies, social agencies, production companies, PR firms, design studios and other companies providing creative, media and tech services to brand marketers and other organizations.  

WHAT TYPE OF WORK CAN BE ENTERED?

The definition of work is broad. Entries can include traditional and non-traditional executions, including print or outdoor, broadcast, digital, PR, branded content, design, experiential, or a combination of execution types.  

WHAT ARE THE JUDGES LOOKING FOR?

The judges are looking for outstanding work that resulted from partner collaboration. The entries will be judged on creativity and collaboration, with added consideration made for innovation. 

WHAT DO WE ENTER? 

An entry must include:

  • The only video required is the video of the work
  • A summary (300 words or less) explaining how creative excellence was uniquely achieved through the partnership(s)
  • The full name of each partner company and a short description (100 words or less) of each partner’s role and contribution

 

CAN I ENTER MORE THAN ONE PARTNERSHIP? 

Yes. You most likely represent more than one brand. You can enter as many partnerships as you choose. However, each one must be entered separately.

CAN I INCLUDE MORE THAN ONE CREATIVE EXAMPLE IN A SINGLE ENTRY?

Yes. If your partnership resulted in numerous creative expressions, you can include them in your video.

I’M NOT SURE WHICH CATEGORY I SHOULD ENTER. WHAT DO I DO? 

The best category for any particular entry will best be determined by the entrant. The entrant needs to consider how the jury will perceive an entry and must consider which partnership they want to highlight. However, judges may decide that an entry fits better in another category and move it. And if you feel that your entry strongly depicts different partnerships, you may enter it in more than one category (see next FAQ).

 IS IT POSSIBLE FOR A SINGLE ENTRY TO BE ENTERED IN MORE THAN ONE CATEGORY? 

Yes. For example, if you believe that your entry shows equal strength in the Brand Partnership, Media Partnership and Technology Partnership, you can enter it in all three categories. Each entry, however, is considered a separate entry, with a separate entry fee.

DO WE HAVE TO BE A 4A’S MEMBER TO ENTER THE 4A's PARTNER AWARDS? 

No. The 4A's Partner Awards are open to everyone, regardless of 4A’s membership.
