FAQs

WHO CAN ENTER? 

All U.S.-based agencies and companies that engage in partnerships to produce creative work can enter. 

HOW DO YOU DEFINE A PARTNER?

Partners may be defined as creative agencies, media agencies, digital agencies, social agencies, production companies, PR firms, design studios and other companies providing creative, media and tech services to brand marketers and other organizations.  

Eligible partnerships can be comprised of two or more separate organizations, companies or agencies.

WHAT TYPE OF WORK CAN BE ENTERED?

The definition of work is broad. Entries can include traditional and non-traditional executions, including print or outdoor, broadcast, digital, PR, branded content, design, experiential, or a combination of execution types.  

WHAT ARE THE JUDGES LOOKING FOR?

The judges are looking for exemplary partner collaborations that resulted in, or fundamentally benefited, a creative execution or campaign. The entries will be judged on the merits of creativity, the contributions of each partner, and the results. 

WHAT DO WE ENTER? 

An entry must include:

  • The only video required is the video showcasing the work, though many agencies do provide complete case studies. Winning agencies will be required to submit a 1-minute video for the awards presentation.
  • A summary (300 words or less) explaining how the work was uniquely created or benefited by the partnership(s), and results achieved.
  • The full name of each partner company and a short description (100 words or less) of each partner’s role and contribution.

 

CAN I ENTER MORE THAN ONE PARTNERSHIP? 

Yes. You can enter as many partnerships, in as many categories, for as many campaigns as you choose. However, each one must be entered separately.

CAN I INCLUDE MORE THAN ONE CREATIVE EXAMPLE IN A SINGLE ENTRY?

Yes. If your partnership resulted in numerous creative expressions, you can include them in your video. You also have the ability to include a limited number of other visual assets, such PDFs and photos, but please be sure to note these in your written entry, as they are not standard or required.

I’M NOT SURE WHICH CATEGORY I SHOULD ENTER. WHAT DO I DO? 

The appropriate category for a submission is best determined by the entrant, with consideration given to the partnership they most want to highlight. If you feel that your entry strongly depicts the strength of many partnerships, you may enter it in more than one category. However, judges may decide that an entry fits better in a different category and move it.  

IS IT POSSIBLE FOR A SINGLE ENTRY TO BE ENTERED IN MORE THAN ONE CATEGORY? 

Yes. For example, if you believe that your entry shows equal strength in the Brand Partnership, Media Partnership and Technology Partnership, you can enter it in all three categories. Each entry, however, is considered a separate entry, with a separate entry fee.

DO WE HAVE TO BE A 4A’S MEMBER TO ENTER THE 4A'S PARTNER AWARDS? 

No. The 4A's Partner Awards are open to everyone, regardless of 4A’s membership.
