Kerry Fitzmaurice recently joined McKinney and is responsible for building on McKinney’s “one agency, two doors” business model in New York. Her career has taken her from government sectors to consulting firms to Fortune 500 companies and even to filmmaking, where she worked as a production assistant on the sets of Cider House Rules and Magnolia. Fitzmaurice founded unlockPR, an agency that specializes in brand communications, celebrity relations and product placement. She joined 72andSunny after they purchased unlockPR, and worked on Activision, Target and Sonos.

Fitzmaurice then went to Mother, where she helped the agency land Burger King. Just before joining McKinney, she was the chief marketing officer at KBS, where she led the marketing strategy for the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. A native of Connecticut, Fitzmaurice earned an undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and a master’s degree from Yale.
