REBECCA VAN DYKE
VP, Consumer and Brand Marketing
Rebecca Van Dyck is the VP of Consumer & Brand Marketing for Facebook. In this role, she has been responsible for creating Facebook’s marketing with the goal of building a strong relationship between Facebook and it’s community.
Before joining Facebook, Rebecca was the Chief Marketing Officer for Levi’s®, where she was responsible for all marketing across the Levi’s® brand’s product categories and consumer communication channels, globally.
Prior to Levi’s, Rebecca was at Apple, Inc. where she led the worldwide marketing and communications strategies for some of the world’s most well-known and admired product launches, including the iPhone, iPad, Macs and iPod + iTunes. Before that she was the Nike Global Account Director at Wieden + Kennedy (WK) where she managed the account across four continents and led Nike’s Global World Cup and Olympic Campaigns.
Rebecca was listed as one of Ad Age’s “Women to Watch” in 2011 and honored as a top “100 Most Creative People in Business” in 2012 by Fast Company.
Rebecca graduated from Macalester College with a BA in History and Psychology, and studied abroad at the University of Cairo in Egypt. She currently sits on the board of the New York Times and PSI (www.PSI.org), is a board of trustees for Macalester College and sits on the Advisory Board for IDEO.org.
Rebecca lives with her husband and two daughters in Palo Alto, California. She is also an extensive world traveler and athlete who plays competitive soccer, runs, and practices yoga.
