Chief Creative Officer, North America

In August 2010, Steve Simpson became the Chief Creative Officer of Ogilvy North America. This marked a return to Ogilvy for Simpson, who trained for six years as a copywriter in Ogilvy San Francisco, Hal Riney’s shop. After which, he moved to Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, becoming Partner and Executive Creative Director.
Simpson’s work has won every major industry award several times over—at Cannes, The One Show, Clios, ADC, ANDYs and Effies. He hails from Indiana and graduated from DePauw University and the University of Chicago.
