Tricia Clarke-Stone is the CEO of Narrative_, a New York based advertising agency that functions like an innovation lab by applying a product and tech-style methodology to everything they make. They are committed to creating on and offline immersive experiences, products and ad campaigns that emotionally connect people and brands by leveraging technology, culture and storytelling. Along with her co-founder, business mogul Russell Simmons, Tricia leads Narrative_ in creating unprecedented, integrated campaigns with the world’s largest brands including Under Armour, Samsung, DeLeon Tequila, and Universal Pictures. Tricia is an innovative problem solver, marketer and strategist with a passion for (and consistent record of) results.
From Skidmore College to New York City to Emmis Communications, Tricia’s early career rode to the forefront of the internet revolution. After honing her craft with pioneers of home internet and search, Excite@Home, Tricia returned to Emmis to launch the interactive division, guiding media agencies and brands such as PUMA, iTunes, FOX, Scion, EA Sports and more to create multi-layered cross-platform campaigns.
In 2009 Russell Simmons recruited Tricia to head business development, marketing and operations for his media company Global Grind. She was quickly promoted to co-president, where she led over 100 cross-cultural, digital, social and transmedia experiences for brands like Universal Pictures, Toyota, Pantene, Pepsi, Gillette, Tide, Sony and AT&T. Tricia’s gift for storytelling and creating culture-forward brand experiences, combined with Russell Simmon’s entertainment and lifestyle expertise, brought Narrative_ to life in 2013. Since then, Tricia has not only doubled the revenue of the company each year, but her visionary tactics have landed her spots on AdAge’s 40 Under 40 and Crain’s New York’s 40 Under 40.
